OUR MISSION

Teachers are an underappreciated and in many cases, underpaid part of the workforce and our organization aims to create stability in the lives of educators when they may need assistance. The beneficiaries of funds raised at BOOST are qualified teachers who may be struggling to afford necessary home repairs, medical bills for themselves or family members or other personal expenses that can create financial hardship in their everyday lives. Our goal is to support teachers in need so that they can continue to provide quality education to the next generation of leaders.

In 2022, the national median wage for early childhood teachers was $35,330, but the average cost of living in the United States was $61,334. This means many teachers following their passions have been forced to take additional jobs to maintain their homes and care for their own families. Personal financial issues come in all shapes and sizes, and BOOST is proud to provide assistance in the following situations:

Home Crisis Support

  • Natural Disaster, Flooding, Fire or Other Unforeseen Property Destruction

  • Eviction Prevention or Utility Assistance

  • Food Assistance

Health Crisis Support

  • Personal Trauma / Domestic Abuse

  • Medical Bills (For Self or Immediate Family Member Living in Home)

  • Funeral Costs for Immediate Family Member
