  • Business owners or multi-site managers of licensed private preschool facilities may nominate an eligible teacher who is in need of financial support. The business should be located in the United States, open and operating, and in good standing. We would recommend advising the nominated teacher about the submission on their behalf in the event that our review team requires additional information or would like to speak to the teacher personally.

  • Full time employees (30 hours a week) over the age of 18 and in good standing are eligible to receive support from our organization. We understand that preschool teachers wear many hats so we would ask that the teacher in need of assistance spend at least 50% of their time in classroom. Teachers who are on medical leave or paid family medical leave may still be eligible to receive support. At BOOST, our goal is to provide as much support to as many teachers as possible.

  • We understand that the need for support in many circumstances is time-sensitive. Once a complete application including all required documentation is received by our administrative team, our goal is to provide a written decision to the applicant within 7 days of receipt thereof.  The process may include a meeting with applicant to discuss their needs further but each case is carefully examined and considered by a diverse and impartial review team. Applications are reviewed in the order that they are received but our goal is to help as many teachers in need that we can.

  • Generally, a business owner/multi-site manager can nominate a teacher with a detailed description of the teacher’s current need including a specific monetary request up to $10,000 and documentation or proof of the need for the requested amount.  Your application may be considered incomplete or can be delayed if any of the above are missing.

  • No. Nominators are free to submit applications for eligible employees as they see appropriate. If the application is denied by the Board, the business owner will be asked to wait 90 days before submitting another application for the same employee.

  • It depends. If the Board deems it appropriate to contact the nominee, they may do so to ask additional questions and make an informed decision. We would ask that the nominee respond to any requests of the review board within three (3) days. The more detail about the nominee’s current situation as well as supporting documentation, the more efficiently our review team can address the application.
