Silent Auction Raises Over $46,000 to Support Early Childhood Teachers
BOOST by HINGE, Inc. hosted its first fundraising event at the 2025 SHIFT Childcare Leaders Conference in Santa Barbara, California — raising more than $46,000 for early childhood teachers in need.
Santa Barbara, Ca – November 12, 2024 – BOOST is thrilled to share the incredible success of our first official fundraiser, our ‘Day at the Races’ Silent Auction event. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised a total of $46,744 to aid early childhood teachers facing financial crises.
The event, which combined a silent auction, raffle, and generous one-time donations, saw incredible participation from the community:
$2,261 raised from raffle ticket purchases
$24,700 secured through silent auction bids
$19,783 contributed in one-time donations
“We are beyond grateful for the support from our donors, sponsors, and participants,” said BOOST Executive Director Kate Hubschman. “This funding will directly impact the lives of early childhood educators, ensuring they receive the financial assistance they need to continue their essential work.”
The fundraiser featured a raffle for two free Southwest Airlines tickets, won by Tyler Huntey of Huntey’s Clubhouse. Attendees also had the opportunity to bid on exclusive silent auction items, including an F1 Experience for Two, tickets to the 2025 Country Music Awards, and 7-day Luxury Trip to Banff.
In addition to auction contributions, Kathy Ligon donated proceeds from the sale of her new book, The Five Pillars of Purpose-Driven Profit, raising more than $12,000 for BOOST’s cause. You can learn more about the book and purchase your copy at www.hingeadvisors.com/pillars.
All proceeds from our Silent Auction go directly toward supporting early childhood educators experiencing financial hardship. By lifting the burden of unexpected expenses, BOOST empowers teachers to focus on what they do best — nurturing and educating young minds.
BOOST extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to this milestone event.
