BOOST Stands with ECE Teachers Affected by Hurricane Helene

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, BOOST is here to support early childhood educators who have been impacted by the storm’s devastation. We understand the challenges that come with rebuilding, and we are committed to providing assistance to those in need.

If you are a preschool owner or multi-site manager with employees who have been affected by the hurricane, they may be eligible to apply for support through BOOST. Our goal is to help ease the burden so teachers can continue their essential work with young learners while recovering from personal losses.

Some examples of situations BOOST can assist with include:

  • House Repairs – Financial assistance for necessary repairs due to flooding or hurricane damage.

  • Temporary Housing Costs – Financial support for those who need to relocate due to uninhabitable conditions.

  • Vehicle Damage – Support of up to $1,000 for necessary repairs of vehicles damaged in the storm.

  • Other Critical Needs – BOOST can provide additional assistance for food insecurity.

If you have early education employees who are struggling to recover in the aftermath of Helene, we encourage you to apply on their behalf for assistance. Visit www.boostbyhinge.org/apply for more details on eligibility and the application process.

BOOST is dedicated to standing by our teachers during this difficult time. Together, we can help rebuild and restore the lives of those who play such a vital role in our communities.
